I år är det 30-årsjubileum för 90-talets charmigaste indiefilm! Before Sunrise (Bara en natt) hade premiär 1995, och blev den första delen i Richard Linklaters Before-trilogi. Vi visar den på Fyrisbiografen söndag 24 augusti. Före filmen har du chans att briljera med dina filmkunskaper i ett filmquiz! Två unga resenärer möts på en tågresa genom Europa. Céline (Julie Delpy) är på väg tillbaka till Paris, Jesse (Ethan Hawke) till Wiens flygplats och vidare hem till USA. De dras in i ett samtal om konst, kultur och livet – men deras möte verkar få ett abrupt slut när tåget anländer till Wien.

Jesse övertalar Céline att kliva av tåget för en spontan natt i staden, innan de skiljs åt morgonen därpå. Det som följer är en omvälvande natt fylld av samtal och flyktig kärlek.

Before Sunrise (Bara en natt) premiered in 1995 and became the first installment in Richard Linklater's Before trilogy. We'll be screening it at Fyrisbiografen on August 24. Before the film, you’ll have a chance to show off your movie knowledge in a film quiz! The quiz will be hosted in English by our quizmaster Drew, and the theme is romantic films. The quiz is included with your movie ticket, but if you don’t want to join, you’re of course welcome to come just for the film.

Two young travelers meet on a train journey through Europe. Céline (Julie Delpy) is on her way back to Paris, Jesse (Ethan Hawke) to the Vienna airport and then home to the U.S. They strike up a conversation about art, culture, and life — but their encounter seems destined to end abruptly when the train arrives in Vienna.

Jesse convinces Céline to get off the train for a spontaneous night in the city before parting ways the next morning. What follows is a transformative night filled with deep conversation and fleeting romance.
